As part of a political initiative to increase public transportation use, Doppelmayr´s Cable Liner® is now a direct link to existing public transportation facilities. The system motivates passengers traveling to the airport by using public transportation instead of car driving. Doppelmayr Cable Car utilized existing guideway structures as the small maglev system was replaced by the Air-Rail Link.
